Abstrack Penelitian Bunga Kol


ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine the Effect of Compost Powder as Media Planting on Growth and yield of Crop Flower (Brassica oleraceae). This research was conducted in Meunasah Dayah Matangglumpangdua Village, Peusangan Subdistrict, Bireuen District which lasted from October to November 2017. The design used was Nonfactorial Randomized Block Design (RAK). Factors studied were dosage of wood powder compost as much as 6 levels ie: K0 = 100% soil, K1 = 100% wood powder compost, K2 = 1: 1 (50% powder compost: 50% soil), K3 = 2: 1 ( 70% of wood powder compost: 30% of soil), K4 = 3: 1 (80% wood powder compost: 20% of soil), K5 = 4: 1 (90% woodpowder compost: 10% soil) is repeated as many as three (3) time, so that there were 18 experimental units. The parameters observed in this study were plant height, leaf number, stem diameter, flower mass diameter, interest weight at 15 after days, 30   after days and 45 after days. The results showed that the application of wood powder compost significantly affected the plant height, leaf number, stem diameter, flower diameter and flower weight of cauliflower plants at 15 after days, 30 after days and 45 after days. With the best value found in the treatment (K3) with the composition planting media 2:1 (70% composted wood powder : 30 % soil).
